Today I found out that Heparin is a type of anticoagulant.  I never thought of naming a dog after a prescription drug, but if there’s one thing you can say about Stray Rescue of St. Louis (OK, there is a whole lot that can be said about this amazing animal rescue group), it is that they sure come up with original names for the animals in their care.
